Laila Abdul-Hadi Jadallah / Art West Asia Projects is pleased to be a curatorial partner at this year’s Umbrella Art Fair, November 21 – 23, 2025, in Washington, D.C., presenting a booth that brings together artists and designers across continents with Palestinian roots. Featured will be new and recent work by Michael Hambouz, Moïo Studio, REJO Design Studio and Sabri Sundos. Each artist and design studio draws on the built and natural environment, blending architectural, embroidered, and multidimensional abstraction to embody cultural continuity. The artists and designers, in conversation with one another, transform traditional forms into experimental practices across fiber, ceramics, painting, and intricate cut paper. Their work is an invitation to reflect and to look more closely at what you see – and serve as acts of recovering what is personal, cultural, known and imagined.
